What is Permanent Jewelry?

Permanent jewelry refers to custom-fitted bracelets, necklaces, anklets, or rings that are welded together, meaning they have no clasps and are designed to be worn indefinitely. Unlike traditional jewelry, which can be taken off at the end of the day, permanent jewelry stays with you—whether you're at work, on vacation, or celebrating a special occasion.

These pieces are typically made from high-quality, durable metals.

How does the process for permanent jewelry work?

Getting permanent jewelry is a quick and painless experience. Here’s what to expect when you book an appointment:

  1. Clasp or No Clasp - You have the ability to choose a clasp or have no clasp. If you choose permanent (no clasp), it's an easy process to remove in the event you have to. Just use a pair of scissors or pliers and cut at the connecting O-ring that was used. We re-weld for free if the break happens at the connection point.
  2. Choose Your Chain—Choose from a variety of high-quality chains in different metals, styles, and thicknesses to match your personal taste.
  3. Choose Your Charm or Connector—Choose from a variety of charms and connectors to brighten up your permanent jewelry. Charms dangle, while connectors are in line with the chain you choose.
  4. Get Measured – A jewelry expert will custom-fit the chain to your wrist, ankle, or neck. If you order online, all chains will be custom-made, based on information provided by the customer, and will receive a clasp. Please see the "Measure" tab to learn more about how to properly measure yourself for a custom piece.
  5. Welding – The jeweler will seamlessly attach the chain using a small, precise welding machine, creating a clasp-free, secure fit. This process is completely safe and pain-free.
  6. Enjoy Your New Look – That’s it! You’re now the proud owner of a permanent piece of jewelry.
